SUMMARY
The Philanthropy Operations Manager will be responsible for administering and leading Re:wild’s Salesforce CRM system to support philanthropic efforts, including managing donor information, generating reports, conducting analyses, and assisting the Philanthropy Team with donor cultivation and stewardship. Additionally, the position requires developing and maintaining centralized documentation on donor processes, facilitating weekly Moves Management meetings, and helping staff prioritize efforts while aligning prospects with projects. Donor research is a key responsibility, utilizing various tools to gather insights. Collaboration with the Operations Team ensures accurate tracking of donor gifts, pledges, and timely acknowledgments, while also supporting Relationship Managers in tailoring communications to donors’ philanthropic intentions.
The Philanthropy Operations Manager will also ensure high-quality and timely submission of proposals and reports while providing administrative support to the Philanthropy Team, such as scheduling, correspondence, event logistics, and responding to donor inquiries. The Manager will report to the Director of Philanthropy Partnerships and will work closely with the Re:wild Operations Team. The Manager will work in close collaboration with other Re:wild staff and external partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as administrator and team lead for Re:wild’s Salesforce CRM system for fundraising management, including updating donor information, producing reports, performing analyses, and assisting the Philanthropy Team by recording their cultivation and stewardship of donors.
Develop and maintain centralized documentation on donor process (aka moves management). Support staff in prioritizing time and effort, as well as matching key prospects with existing or potential new projects. Facilitate weekly Moves Management meetings and consistent list review and modification with Relationship Managers.
Perform donor research using a variety of tools (donor management database, screening tools, and the internet).
Work closely with the Operations Team to track donor gifts, pledges and other funding and initiate timely and appropriate acknowledgement/thank you notes from leadership. Support Relationship Managers to ensure gift acknowledgements and communications are tailored to the donors’ individual desires and philanthropic intent as guided by individual donor strategy.
Ensure proposals and reports are 1) professionally written, reviewed as needed for content, quality, consistency, and compliance; 2) solicited and received in a timely manner; and 3) submitted on time.
Provide and/or oversee administrative support to the Philanthropy team. This may include scheduling, drafting correspondence, and responding to donor inquiries.
Manage the annual appeal process with metrics to grow the program, working closely with Re:wild’s Marketing/Communications team.
Ensure donor/grantor restrictions and conditions are documented, respected and followed.
Assist in work with individuals, corporations, and foundations that have integrated their environmental giving under the Re:wild platform.
Provide logistical support for fundraising events.
Assists with the development of marketing and promotional materials, and other forms of outreach to various audiences.
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and 5 - 7 years’ related work experience or equivalent combination. Proven experience working within decentralized teams while managing many tasks, deadlines and relationships.
Technologically Oriented: Demonstrated experience with the Salesforce donor management system (Nonprofit Cloud) with the skill to construct and produce reports, track major gift prospects, and other information. Comfortable with use of AI and innovations in technology to implement for efficiencies without losing quality. Working knowledge of MS Office suite. Familiarity with NetSuite ERP a plus. Experience or willingness to learn the latest AI tools.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time, exempt position.
Projected salary range of $60,000 – $80,000 with the final determination to be made commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
Re:wild provides medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance, with Re:wild covering up to 100% of the premiums. Re:wild also offers a 403b retirement plan with up to 3% match after a year of employment.
Re:wild observes 16 paid holidays each calendar year. Full-time employees can also accrue the following annually: up to 15 days of vacation leave, 12 days of illness leave and 2 volunteer days.
Hours: The position may occasionally require working outside of normal business hours to engage with staff located in different time zones around the world.
Travel: only occasional travel for events support, team retreats, etc.
