    Rodrigo Medeiros is a global leader in the field of sustainable development, climate change, policy and environmental governance having worked extensively in conservation projects in Brazil, Africa and Latin America. He is a biologist with a master’s degree in Ecology, PhD in geography and a Post-Doc at the Natural History Museum in Paris. Medeiros was visiting professor at the Natural History Museum in Paris (2004); associate professor at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2005-2019); Vice President for Brazil (2013-2018) and for Strategic Partnerships in the Americas Division (2018-2019) for Conservation International; Chair in Brazil for UN-SDSN Chapter (2013-2019). He has published more than 10 books, including three children/youth novels, and dozens of book chapters and scientific articles. He lives in Rio with his wife and three children.
